Summer Meal Plan Options for 2020

Residential

For students residing in the residence halls two plans are available during the summer: The Summer Spider 15 and the Summer Spider 10.  Students residing in the residence halls are automatically assigned the Spider 10 but may elect to change to the Spider 15. Please contact  the One-Card Office to implement a change. 

  • The Spider 15 is an all-inclusive plan which provides a double room*, 15 personal meals per week* (meals reset on Monday) and provides an average of $17.00 in Dining Dollars per week to be used at other Dining Service locations on campus.  The total amount of dining dollars allotted are calculated based on the number of nights housed and are available when your meal plan is activated. 
  • The Spider 10 is an all-inclusive plan which provides a double room*, 10 personal meals per week* (meals reset on Monday) and provides an average of $60.26 in Dining Dollars per week to be used at other Dining Service locations on campus.  The total amount of dining dollars allotted are calculated based on the number of nights housed and are available when your meal plan is activated.

Research Students

This plan is automatically assigned to research students residing in University Forest apartments based on double occupancy. Students may upgrade to the Spider 15 or Spider 10. Research students living in the residence halls will be assigned the Spider 10 and residence hall room and board rates will apply. The Spider Plus plan provides an average of $61.14 per week in Dining Dollars to be used at any Dining Services retail location and for discounted meals at the Heilman Dining Center.

Commuting Students

Mini Flex, weekly /$90
This plan may be purchased by commuting students in 5, 6, 8 or 10 week blocks from May 18 through July 25 and provides $90 a week in Dining Dollars to be used at any Dining Services’ retail location and for discounted meals at the Heilman Dining Center.

Extended Stay

Extended Stay is May 11– May 16 and July 26 – August 13. During this time the room and board rate of $36.04 a day will apply. This provides an average of $17.24 a day in Dining Dollars and a double room.

HDC To Go
Carry-out meals  are available from the Heilman Dining Center with the purchase of an eco-friendly, reusable container which can be traded in for a replacement container on your next visit.  The only extra cost is the initial purchase of the container.
