Peter Torneo is a Production Manager for residential dining at the University of Richmond’s Heilman Dining Center. He double majored in Philosophy and English Literature at the University of Maine and earned his Associate of Arts, Culinary Arts Degree in 2004 from California Culinary Academy. Torneo is passionate about making beautiful, innovative, delicious dishes with his team. In 2022, he represented UR as manager of the NACUFS regional Culinary Challenge in Norfolk, VA. In his free time, Torneo enjoys reading and playing with his daughter. Fun Fact: Torneo's favorite dish is Lobster Thermidor, a French specialty popular in his former hometown of New Orleans, LA.Expand All
