Richard “Rich” Jacobs is the Director of Retail Operations for Dining Services at the University of Richmond (UR). Jacobs graduated from Purdue University with a hospitality degree. Jacobs has more than 25 years of corporate and collegiate food service experience across the country, including 17 years with Notre Dame Campus Dining. He enjoys incorporating the latest food service technology into his retail locations. Outside of work, Jacobs is a huge Philadelphia sports fan (GO BIRDS!) who always knows the latest scores and stats. He enjoys Mexican cuisine, Orange Theory workouts, and is a dad to four rescue cats.
